Everybody said the second series of Heroes wasn't very good. I was concerned, worried and upset that one of my favourite shows would be ruined. However, as far as I can see they lied. It's still brilliant!
Pretty much everyone is back. New Heroes are suitably scary, there's a dangerous illness hitting the heroes and there's another baddie on the loose hurrah!
The Petrelli brothers are alive. Nathan, now has a dodgy beard and possibly a horribly scarred face if what he saw in the mirror was in true. Peter has no idea where he is, even though he is in Cork surrounded by some comedy Irish accents.
Hiro is back in ancient Japan only to discover his personal hero Takezo Kensei is a fraud [possibly] this time with a dodgy British accent.
Hiro's father was killed by a figure from the past and Nathan and Peter's mum were attacked by it too. Mohinder is trying to infiltrate The Corporation, Matt is looking after Molly who can see some horrible bad man [could this be Uluru or is it just Sylar, who clearly isn't dead?]
Meanwhile, HRG is hiding out in Copy Kingdom where they play only the finest muzak and Claire's possible new boyfriend can fly. Claire also managed to bag the most gruesome scene of the series so far when she cut off her little toe with a pair of scissors. Ewwww.
Finally not too sure about the two Mexican twins who have turned up - she appears to be the poison that kills people and he appears to be the antidote. I have a feeling this may play a big part in bringing the bad guys down later on, so I'll stick with them for now. The black tears she sheds are kind of cool too.
Anyway, to cut a long story short it was ace.
Just in case you are mental and missed the first series here it is described in 210 seconds...
