Ian slaps Lucy while Bianca gives Ricky an earbashing...

While I would never advocate hitting children I don’t blame Ian for slapping Lucy around the face in EastEnders one little bit. I would have slapped her too.

Not only does she wreck his house and show no remorse, she then accuses him of driving her mum away [forgetting the fact that not only was her mum a bit of a slapper she actually hired a hitman to kill Ian – he was allowed to be a little bit miffed].

Now I’ve never been a fan of Ian Beale and quite frankly I could do without all the flashing of his middle-aged body that the scriptwriters keep, for some perverse reason, sneaking in, but he doesn’t deserve the evil children [Peter aside], that he’s been landed with. Gail Platt in Corrie on the other hand does.

In other EastEnders news I am excited about the return of Rickaaaaay and Bianca. For those of you who haven’t yet seen it here’s the full trailer for their return to the Square. I’ve missed those puffa jackets more than I realised…
