Under the knife

Holby City gets the adrenaline pumping...

I watched Holby City for the first time in years tonight and I’ve clearly been missing a treat.

While Patsy Kensit was desperately acting through the botox, Tina Hobley was acting her socks off.

Bear with me as I don’t know anyone’s character name, but I turned over to see Tina’s character split up with a doctor who was an alcoholic and was now back on the sauce after their split.

Rather than take her rejection lying down, they had a huge row in an empty operating room and she somehow cut her face. Next thing you know she’s got gauze in her mouth so she can’t scream and he’s performing some impromptu surgery on her face!
