Simon Amstell as a cocky teen on You Tube...

You Tube is a wonderful thing.

I've just been sent a really random link to what appears to be a 13-year-old Simon Amstell appearing on Games Master. You know, the 90s computer games show which was hosted by Dexter 'Hotel Babylon' Fletcher and had Patrick Moore as a strange talking head.

I love Simon Amstell - his put downs on Never Mind The Buzzcocks are pure genius and he made Popworld the show it was [any man who asks Britney Spears if she eats batteries is a god in my eyes]. This clip proves that even as a teenager he was a cocky little so-and-so.

I truly hope this is Simon, but the burning question really is who on earth keeps video tapes of Games Master to find this kind of thing from?
