I feel guilty. Last week in my column in the mag I was nasty about Rhydian from The X Factor. I might have said I wanted to punch him in the mouth. OK, I did say I wanted to punch him in the mouth.
Today I went to meet all the X Factor finalists and came face-to-face with my nemesis and he was actually - wait for it - quite nice. I'm not that easily swayed, but as more and more of the other contestants kept telling me how lovely he was the guilt started to seap in.
On the show he winds me up like you wouldn't believe, but I clearly don't have a backbone because I now feel bad.
I can also inform you that apparently Rhydian is "ripped' and has "pecs to die for" Blimey. I didn't see that one coming.
I'm sure I'll change my tune back again next week, but for now I'm sorry.
Anyway, my favourites were the over 25s who were lovely and Futureproof were sweet. OK, I liked everyone. Damn, I'm easily swayed.
Oh, and just to show exactly how fickle I am I'm now supporting Same Difference, simply because they come from Portsmouth and so do I. What that says about exports from the south coast I don't want to know, but the fact that they're that happy AND they come from Pompey in my opinion is something that must be admired.
