You all know I don’t like Emily. I think Emily is spoilt, arrogant and childish, however, she’s more of an idiot than a racist. Stupid? Yes. Racist? No.
I think the ‘N’ word she said to Charley was only meant as a joke and a lame attempt to try to look cool. It was misguided and ignorant, but I don’t believe it was said with any malice intended.
I know that the word is regularly used in rap music, but as even the black community can’t agree on how they feel about the word, as a white girl it really isn’t appropriate. I may swear like a trooper, but I was always brought up to think it was one of those words that that is so bad you should never use it.
Big Brother’s had no choice but to kick her out, especially considering the events in January. I’m just gutted I didn’t get my chance to boo as she walked out of the house and, that now it looks that the eviction will be off on Friday, and I can’t boo Shabnam either.
The naivety is apparent in the final line of her conversation with Charley:
Emily: ‘It's not a big deal though, is it?’
Charley: ‘Not for us it ain't. F**k me.’
Oh Emily, did you not watch Celebrity Big Brother?
