Wednesday night saw us party on down on East London's Shoreditch high street at the launch of new cool cocktail bar and club Avalon.
Whilst sipping on Cherry Blossom cocktails, we munched on prawn dim sum, sweetened our palates with strawberry macaroons and nibbled on an abundance of intricately designed cupcakes.

In-between wiggling our hips on the dance floor and Now's Louis Boroditsky downing Jagermeister shots, a henna tattooist decorated beautiful glitter tattoos on our hands - unknown to me that it was a ‘real' henna tat and that it may actually last up to 6 weeks. I naively or stupidly (delete applicable) thought that it was a wash off design.
I have now been asked on numerous occasions if I was at an Indian wedding at the weekend? My reply, ‘Erm, no, I had a few cocktails and got a tattoo.' Hopefully that will be the first and last time I have to say that.

Any way back to the party in hand, Avalon, named after the mystical island at the heart of the legend of King Arthur; is a sexy ass bar made up with luxurious velvet seats and grand tables and chairs perfect for lounging back on whilst supping their signature Karma Sip- tra cocktails.

After getting our tarot cards read (FYI I have a very exciting 2 years ahead of me) we danced amongst the likes of Alphabeat and Jodie Harsh in the dark and hedonistic style Club section of Avalon.
Well past our bedtime we fell out of the bar giggling at our henna tats and what the future holds for us, however it would be true to say I wasn't giggling so much in the morning....
