Cheryl's fashion and last weekend's X Factor breakdown
Monday, 19 October 2009
I'm typing this as I am listening to Cheryl Cole's new single. And admittedly, it is a grower.
Initially I wasn't sure but then I saw the video and found myself bobbing along, unable to take my eyes off the screen as she stomped around in her military attire.
Lyrically it is not amazing, but the spoken words are kind of catchy!
Now really what I want to talk about it last weekend's X Factor. What the hell happened?
The usual easy watching was met with very uneasy watching.
Giving up the dance floor for a pampered weekend away with X Factor as a Saturday night treat.
My fellow dressing-gown wearing friend and I felt really uncomfortable with the constant jibes between the judges.
Cheryl and Dannii completely lacked their usual energy and lustre. And then Cheryl actually burst into tears? I mean, come on, I thought it was all meant to be a bit of fun.
Maybe we could blame it on Louis not being there, as I suppose he is the usual sounding board for Simon's wickedly true remarks.
To be honest, and I hate to say it, I think the pressure is starting to get to little old Chezzer.
She hit the nation by storm last year, rocking up on stage in tiny embellished frocks, big hair and all smiles.
All the while poor Dannii Minogue took a media battering, who cared what Dannii had to say?!
But now the 38-year-old looks pretty amazing herself.
Is everyone starting to wean themselves off the Geordie lass who we know and love?
She came across as Little Miss Sulky Sue the weekend before last and now she cries on live TV all because Simon said she did bad.
Come on, love, it's not all about you.
Soon enough it won't be just Ashley's love she will need to fight for?!
On a lighter fashion note, Cheryl looked pretty damn hot once she had stripped out of that military jacket and hat on Sunday's show
I loved the cut-out body that she wore, for the less daring of us - ditch the sliced open harem trousers and swap for skinnies and a loose blouse over the top.

I feel a rant about the female contestants' wardrobes coming on, so stop by here tomorrow to find out what I have got to say.

I think this song is amazing, her performance on x factor was really good, i'm glad she did it live as before she hasn't planned to; they were going to pre-record it. Cheryl Cole is amazing
well, I don't agree with your take on last weeks X-factor, and Cheryl crying!I just think she's very emotional person and it is her job to find the wright songs for all her fellows - and abviously the Leona song was too big for him!I don't think she'll be fightinf for nations love any time soon either, everyone loves her. I think she looked hot last week and I love her new song!Well done!!!!!
