Acceptable in the 80's

River Island's take on this season's 80s trend is definitely acceptable in 2009

On Friday I popped down to the River Island press show room to view their 80s fashion show.

Some people may find the 80s either scarily bright or colour clashingly crazy. In my opinion River Island successfully pulled it off and made me want to wear the trend.

I saw paint splattered over-sized hair bows, acid wash denim, cropped Minnie mouse tee's and white fringe boots. All in River Island now or going in the next couple of weeks.

I was doubly impressed as I managed to get some fabulous inspiration for my one of my best friends 80s themed birthday party next week!
