I don’t think there is a better time than the present to 'wear' a big gleaming smile.
Especially this week!
I’m all for a bit of snow, and was delightfully smiley when I was prancing around in it early Monday morning, after I had discovered I was snowed in and I had a day off work.
Now the snow has turned to gross grey slush, I slipped over on the ice yesterday and the time I lost on Monday at work has left me with too many deadlines and too little time!
This little lady isn’t too smiley anymore…
And that goes for Paris too. The notorious pouter opted for a bright yellow Disaya smiley face dress at the recent Nokia Launch party. No need to flash her pearly whites, the dress does the talking, er, smiling for her.
The designer said: "The truth is that no amount of worrying can help us solve our problems. There are many reasons to be jolly about the world, many the result of human creativity. The challenge in difficult times is to remember the good and happy moments”.
So if I can’t manage a real smile on my face why not literally wear one?
I discovered these large bold smiley face (£66) necklaces from Smiley World- to add a bit of happiness to your outfits- available in red, turquoise and white on gold or silver chains. (020 7931 0718)
