My Halloween night out...
Monday, 3 November 2008
As a girl all about fashion I decided I was going to ditch the sexy witch/ devil/ cat look this Halloween. Instead I opted for an on trend 1920s flapper girl!
I know, I know you are all saying that’s not scary, but my invitation stated ‘any’ fancy dress. And in my defence what is scary about a witch wearing sexy black hold-ups and a bum skimming black dress? Exactly!
I wore a fab dress fringed flapper inspired dress, long lace gloves, a feather headband and strings of pearls. I topped the look off with a slick of berry red lipstick!
I actually got quite attached to the look and I think if I toned down the lips and feathers I could wear the dress on a glam Christmas night out. Wear the feather headband with a cool tee and tux jacket and as for the pearls I am wearing them right now with a loose vest dress and military boots!
On the other hand my sister went all out in full on Snow White clobber and my friend in the biggest angel wings I have ever set my eyes on! Looking fab girls!
