VB isn’t one to shy away from the dominatrix trend that has hit the catwalks recently. And she more than proves it in these Antonio Berardi’s boots at her fragrance launch in NYC.

Priced at £2,500 the S&M inspired boots are a weird concoction of PVC leggings and heel-free platform boots.

Ok. So I am all for leather trousers/ leggings, thigh boots and mega platforms, but admittedly I would much prefer a heel to hold me up!

Style Ed Alison, argues:“ If I had David Beckham on my arm to stop me falling over, then I would be tempted to take those boots for spin too.”

Has Mrs Beckham taken it too far this time ?
