There comes a time when women over 30 should realise that fly-by-night fashion trends should be left to the teens and twenty-somethings, but I’m here to tell you this is definitely not the time!

The fact that Carrie Bradshaw’s still trotting out the over-sized corsages and girly prom dresses at the age of 40 is super-stylist Patricia Field’s way of telling us fashion rules are there to be broken and no one should dictate to us what we can and can’t wear.

And to prove it, I slipped into John Zack’s star print jumpsuit to show my thirty something sisters how it’s
done.
