Lewis Hamilton has splashed out on a luxury Caribbean break with new girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger.

The couple flew out to Grenada after the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday, where the Pussycat Doll watched the Formula 1 star race to victory.

'Things are certainly getting serious between them,' says a source.

'Whisking her away like that shows he really means business.

'He is really pushing the boat out for Nicole. They are on a short break before he heads to his next race in Montreal,' the insider tells the Daily Mirror.

For the £50k trip Lewis, 23, and Nicole, 29, are believed to have taken a private plane, complete with an unlimited supply of champagne, from Nice on the French Riviera to island of Grenada.

The couple are holidaying on a private estate.
