Not content with revolutionising our handbags, and adding a vintage vixen vibe to our accessories, Lulu Guinness has turned her hand to our beauty treatments too, launching London’s poshest pedicure aimed at fashionistas who are on their six-inch heels all day.
Admittedly, I’m more of an Ugg boots girl in the winter and all about Havaiiannas in the summer – can’t wait to break into the Jamaican flag Havaiiannas my friend Lorna brought me back for my birthday when the sun comes out. Thanks Lor! – but in the line of duty, I could’t resist trying the Lulu Guinness Killer Heels treatment at London’s swanky Spa at Chancery Court Hotel.
For £99, my lacklustre limbs spent the best part of an hour being primed, primped, exfoliated, massaged with hot and cold stones, and finished with a slick of near neon Essie nail polish in Outrageous Orange, and the highlight of the experience was an adorable Lulu Guinness purse to take home as a stylish souvenir.
Spa Manager Todd Lepage and his team should get a special mention for seamlessly coordinating my Killer Heels treatment around a last minute radio interview I had to do on Kate Moss on Capital FM that evening too.
According to Lulu herself, “We certainly suffer to be beautiful but when you dress to kill, the first thing you kill is your feet which is why this Kller Heels treatment is a godsend for women like me who live in high heels. The 55 minute treatment results in perfectly nourished and manicured shiny red toes. The Spa at Chancery Court is ideally situated, like my Royal Exchange store, in the city and offers an oasis of calm to the busy city girl.”
And till 25 February, Lulu’s offering a 10% discount on her 2007 Holiday Resort handbag collection to every Killer Heels customer at her Royal Exchange store.
Find the Spa at Chancery Court at 252 High Holborn, London WC1V 7EN. For an appointment, call 020 7829 7058.
