Back For Good

Take That live in…my local cinema?

So Pete Doherty was a no-show at the NME party, but one man who’ll never let me down is Mark Owen.

As a birthday present, my best friend Sheema booked us tickets to the live screening of Take That’s sell-out Beautiful World tour 02 Arena show in the comfort of our local cinema in Harrow.

The best part – apart from still being allowed to sing, dance and scream - was being about 10 feet away from the action on stage and 10 minutes away from my house when the gig ended. The worst part was when I single-handedly attempted to start a Mexican Wave, and my cinema seat flipped back, leaving me on my arse, with the Christmas pannetones I’d just bought for all my girlfriends breaking my fall.
