Wanted: A boyfriend for Dannii Minogue

Dannii Minogue has put me in charge of finding her a new man.

In the valley of the blind, the one-eyed Style Editor is queen.

This is the only reason I can think of that the adorable Dannii Minogue has enlisted my help in hooking her up when our celebrity style interview at the super-swish Charlotte Street Hotel somehow degenerated into both of us moaning about not being able to find a fella.

‘What do we do? How do we solve this? What do we do?’ Dannii asked me. Like I'd know.

By trial and error - mostly error - I’m beginning to suspect that none of my potential boyfriends are ever boyfriend potential, but unlike me, Dannii’s doesn’t go for bad boys.

‘I always go for the nerds that no-one else wants,’ she told me. For the record – now pay attention, boys –Dannii’s dream date is clean-cut, a little bit geeky and about 40 (which I personally think is too old for her. I said the same thing to Beverley Knight.)

Form an orderly queue now, gentlemen…
