Oh My God

I can’t believe it! HOW good is Lily Allen’s cover of the Kaiser Chiefs’ classic?

Never really saw what all the fuss was about Lily Allen...until now.

I've already snapped up a ra-ra prom dress from her sell-out fashion range at New Look, and the video to Lily's amazing Kaiser Chiefs cover from Mark Ronson's album, Version, is the best thing on MTV right now.

Don’t get me wrong, I L-O-V-E the original, and remember running into the Kaisers at Jay-Z’s party at The Light Bar at St Martins Lane Hotel not so long ago (I was there with my mate, fashion designer Wale Adeyemi, but what they were doing there is anyone’s guess!)

But thanks to Mark Ronson’s studio wizardry and Lily’s breathy vocal, Oh My God suddenly has a sexy, loungey, bluesy overtone. Kind of like the Kaiser Chiefs without the shouting.

And in the video - featuring a cheeky cameo from the Kaisers themselves - sees Lily transformed into a cartoon cabaret singer so foxy, she makes Jessica Rabbit look like an amateur.
