The circle of trust

The coolest thing I've done in ages...

After last week’s shock Michael Buble confession, I have a lot making up to do in the street cred stakes, which why I found myself in my first proper freestyle break-dancing circle last weekend.

Jimmy Williams’ Street Locking class at London’s Pineapple Dance Studios is a bit like being in the Run DMC Vs Jason Nevins video for It’s Like That. And if it wasn’t cool enough that I was in the very same dance studio that Madonna filmed her Hung Up video.

OK, so this time I didn’t actually step in the circle and do any freestyling, but just being there was the coolest thing I’d done in ages. And maybe I’ve watched one episode of American Idol too many, but for reasons I can’t explain, it made me quite emotional.
