Fame

Dancing is what I do on my days off from being a fashionista, and the hip hop funk I took at the Broadway Dance Center was as close to being a Kid from Fame as I’m ever going to get.

My dance teacher, Bev, could give Missy Elliott a run for her dollar bills and took no prisoners.

If you couldn’t cut it, you were sent to the back row, and I felt pain like l’d never known.

If she hadn’t said, ‘Does that hurt? Congratulations, youre a dancer!’ I’d have been disappointed.
