Planet Fashion’s poised for a stampede when Giles Deacon’s 34-piece collection packed with look-at-me prints with a rock chick edge, hits selected New Look stores nationwide tomorrow.

But while queues form round the block outside the London flagship and dedicated fashionistas bed down for the night - I’ll be having the first rummage through the rails as well as a hefty discount on the diffusion range at the exclusive celebrity launch party for Gold by Giles. Told you a million girls would die for my job!

The new darling of the design world – who’s designed for illustrious fashion houses such as Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Bottega Veneta and (ahem) Debenhams - lured A-lister Drew Barrymore to model his inaugural collection for New Look, just in case he hadn’t caused enough of a stir on the style scene already.

Wonder if Drew’s going to be there tonight?
