Picture the scene: somewhere in a luxury mansion in the posh part of Beverly Hills, Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony are channel-surfing over a sofa supper, and J-Lo’s looking for a UK journalist to fly out to New York to guest-host an episode of her latest project, The Glow After Dark Show.
Suddenly, ITV2’s WAGS Boutique comes on, La Lopez spots me setting Bows and Better Half their toughest challenge yet, and decides that despite the fact that Kate Thornton would appear to be available, and Cat Deeley’s already presenting American Idol, so she’d save on the air fare, somehow I’m the only girl for the job!
OK, so I’m not sure that’s exactly how it played out, but either way, I’m booked on a flight to New York on Friday to be The Glow After Dark Show’s Visiting Style Consultant presenting an episode aptly named The Dance-off.
As my good friend Mandy from Now posted on My Space, ‘Get out the way, Deeley, there’s a new kid in town!’
