I'm lovin' liquid liner

As much as I’m loving the 60s inspired black liquid liner look at the moment, getting that perfect eye-line in the unglamorously lit Now toilet mirrors without everything going horribly Robert Smith would challenge even the most seasoned make-up pros.

Luckily my friend Barbara, who’s a make-up artist, is over from France and staying at mine. And as well as showing me how to achieve that sexy 60s sweep, she told me the easiest way to mop up liquid eyeliner accidents is with a cotton bud dipped in liquid foundation – not water, moisturiser or make-up remover like I’d been doing. It cleans up the crime scene, reapplies your base in one hit. The girl’s a genius!
