East End boys and West End girls

On the lash...

Alison Tay in New York

Karen, our Assistant Editor for Real Life, is having an East End boys and West End girls themed birthday party night. The dress code is skinny jeans and Hoxton fins for the fellas and LBDs and stilettos for the ladies.

Our old mucker Nick from Nuts magazine misunderstood the brief and asked if he could come as a barrow boy or a Pearly King, but according to Karen, as long as he brings some of his fit, single mates from Nuts, he can come as whatever he likes!

As it’s a very special occasion, I’ve let the birthday girl and all her female guests pick their frocks from my Now Collection with Lipsy clothes rail, and I’m sure Karen won’t mind me revealing she’s chosen the Linsday – a tiered, one-shouldered ra-ra dress in a foxy shade of flame red. It’s one of my personal favourites, and I’ve got up to a lot of mischief in that dress so I hope Karen has fun in it too!

Friday the 13th may be unlucky for some, but since one good turn deserves another, as a selfless act of charity as one of my best friends Claudio would call it, Karen’s introducing me to one of her male model mates tonight! Expect levels of lewd conduct and debauchery not seen since, well, last week, when I was out with boys from NME!

Happy birthday, babe! xxx
