What do you give the bride who has everything? Her very own bespoke bachelorette party, of course!

When Now's Fashion Editor Bonita Turner announced her engagement after a 15-year courtship, we were determined to make her last night out as a single girl one that was worthy of her.

The blushing bride has always stood firm about not wanting a hen night, so we re-branded it a bachelorette and turned it into an evening for Bonnie's glam girl and gay friends that was more her.

Bonnie had sign-off on the the guest list and venue but my toughest decision was working out if she was lying about not wanting a stripper! It takes a very brave bride to entrust a friend who's been on tour with The Chippendales with your bachelorette party!

Bonnie's a vintage vamp who loves Marilyn Monroe, Mad Men and the glamour of bygone eras, so a fellow fashionista suggested Bourne & Hollingsworth an adorable 1940s prohibition themed basement bar in the style of a tea room serving cocktails in porcelain cups and saucers with cucumber finger sandwiches

Our glittering guest list of fashionistas, PR power players and glamorous girls and gays-about-town were served five dozen bespoke home-baked organic mini cupcakes from Crumbs And Doillies  where we had the choice of countless different flavours, colours and designs - on vintage look cakes stands from Next in keeping with the tea room aesthetic.

We created Western Union telegrams sent from absent friends and family including the groom and the mother of the bride plus her girlfriends in LA, New York and Dubai for her to treasure and read out on the night.
