I'm not going to lie to you, being Style Editor of Now Magazine means you're invited to the most glittering celebrity parties in London. And sometimes they're all on the same night.
This was the predicament I found myself in endeavouring to put together a look that would work for afternoon tea with Fearne Cotton at the Soho Hotel to celebrate the launch of her brand new make-up range for Boots, followed by P Diddy's Diddy Dirty Money's Last Train To Paris album playback at The Pigalle Club, and I secretly suspected that super-glam Style Editor meets hip hop honey chic did not exist.
'We'll you've found it!' exclaimed Fearne, as she admired my vintage silk Winter Kate kimono.
'I'm surprised you don't have leather hot pants on underneath!'
'Er actually I do, Fearne!' flashing my batty riders at her.
'So where's your mesh bra top?' she joked.
'I'm wearing it.'
