A whole seven days after Big Band week on X Factor, I'm STILL thinking about Michael Bublé
Friday, 30 October 2009
'And now you say you're lonely...' croons Michael Bublé, licensed to thrill in a razor-sharp tuxedo and spot-lit like a secret agent complete with Bond theme brass.
With his new single Haven't Met You Yet storming the charts, Michael's breaking my heart with his powerful rendition of Cry Me A River delivered with James Bond charm and Bond villain menace in equal measure.
Michael owes his sizzling on-stage charisma and ability to deliver a velvety vocal like he's making sweet love to every member of the crowd one-by-one to his early efforts on the club circuit. 'It taught me how not to reek of desperation, how to step back and let the audience fall in love with me,' he reveals.
Looks like it's worked, then...
Michael Bublé's new album Crazy Love is out now.

Can I just say…Buble makes me want to jump off something tall. That is all x
Sorry to burst your Bublé bubble but I feel there is a distinct lack of authenticity in his performance. It's not just because he's singing in a style that pre-dates his birth - other younger people can carry off that style, Amy Winehouse is one - he simply looks like he's 'acting' too much. I just don't get the hysteria, could it be because he's cute?
