Gilgameshs Monday night food market
Wednesday, 10 June 2009
Loved by the likes of Paris Hilton and Girls Aloud, cult Pan Asian eatery Gilgamesh is spicing our Monday nights by bringing the Full Moon Party vibe to Camden, and transforming its ultra glam Babylon Lounge into a lantern-strewn food market.
I’ll be heading straight for the peking duck stall, via the dim sum trolley for Garlic Chive Mushroom Dumplings and Prawn Har Gau and the Sushi Maki Roll Station, while more adventurous eaters will love the Curry Stall for delicately spiced Thai Red Vegetarian Curry with sweet potato, aubergine and Thai basil.
All dishes are priced at just £3, so you don’t have to be dating a celebrity to be able to afford to eat there.
Find Gilgamesh at Camden View, Camden Stables Market, Chalk Farm Road, London NW1 8AH, 020 7 482 5757. Visit www.gilgameshbar.com
