Style Editor Alison Tay wants to look like Chicago The Musical star Lisa Norman when she grows up

My secret dream to one day star in Chicago The Musical suffered a major set back when the West End cast performed at Now HQ, and I realised I’m about foot too short and dramatically lacking in much of the sizzling sex factor, dance talent and requisite ability to look hot in fishnets to play Velma Kelly.

No one knows the importance of being on top of your personal grooming routine better than the high-kicking, gravity-defying, bodystocking-rocking stars of Chicago, and members of the London cast - including Ian Kelsey as Billy Flynn and Aoife Mulholland as Roxie Hart - joined Philips' Legspert Lisa Norman who plays Go-To Hell Kitty, to bring All That Jazz to Now HQ and celebrate launch of the Philips Santinelle Ice Premium Epilator.

Measuring up at a striking 6ft tall with – wait for it – 44in legs, Lisa has an out-of-this world figure that would make even the most celebrated supermodel feel inadequate, and had time to hang out with me to pump for audition tips and reveal her secrets for Chicago The Musical-worthy legs:

“Because I spend a lot of time in the theatre and get home very late I like to have a quick and easy beauty routine so that I can enjoy the rest of the day. “Being on stage six nights a week, especially in a very sexy and revealing costume, means that I need to keep my legs in perfect shape all the time. There are no real secrets as its all down to exercise and a regular beauty routine.  My legs are my livelihood so I make sure I look after them.”

Oh she’s gonna shimmy till her garter break
“I have been a dancer for most of my life and so am used to the physical effort of performing, which can be very demanding.  In Chicago I perform up to eight shows a week which equates to more than sixteen hours performing on stage.  On top of this I have regular rehearsals.
It certainly keeps me fit and toned but I am keen to maintain a feminine physique without becoming too muscly!”

Eau, I’m no-one’s wife but Eau I love my life…
“I'm pretty disciplined when it comes to my beauty regime. I do watch what I eat but most importantly I drink plenty of water and eat fruit throughout the day.  As for my beauty routine, luckily I don’t have to worry about leg hair very often thanks to my Satinelle Ice epilator.  I only need to epilate every three to four weeks”.
