Just as well Paul Percival - seen here coiffing Sugababe Heidi Range - is a miracle worker as well as a superstar session stylist

Even Style Editor’s have off days, and I’m in desperate need of not so much a revamp, but a resurrection!

Think I may have spent too long in Snowjoggers instead of stilettos but I need to look super-hot on Friday, my feeling-like-road-kill to needing-to-look-amazing ratio has plummeted way out of proportion, and there’s only one solution…

Tracked down the Sugababes’ personal coiffeur Paul Percival to a tour bus in Switzerland, and begged him to give me a Comeback Cut.

The Comeback Cut is a distant cousin of the Break Up Cut. Same amount of drama but less of the heartbreak-induced weight loss.

Fortunately having one of the the A-list’s most accomplished session stylists on my A Team meant he quickly fired me a message back for some ideas and photo references, and I’m channeling Alexa Chung’s heavy fringed, grown-out box bob.

And if anyone can bring my style back from the dead in time for a night out with the Camden scenesters on Friday, it’s Paul Percival…
