Today all of my dreams came true. I met One Direction.

After being left disappointed (okay, devastated) by a number of rescheduled interviews over the last six months, learning that I was finally going to see Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne in the flesh - in a matter of hours - was more than a little exciting.

I arrived at the North London race track with a million thoughts going through my mind including 'am I going to be starstruck?', 'what will happen I fall over in my heels?,' and 'is my top too low?', but most importantly I was dying to know if they'd live up to all the hype - and my expectations.

And the honest truth? Yes, they did.

Everything from Harry's angel curls and Niall's cheeky smile and Zayn's insanely beautiful eyes were exactly what I'd hoped for.

I must admit I was a little apprehensive as to whether the boys would be happy to chat candidly or be polished, media savvy machines.

We talked openly about everything from the boys' fame to relationships - and even gossiped about what covers the lads have got on their beds, which prompted Niall to show me a snap of his room (I really struggled to fight wildly inappropriate thoughts).

But seriously, even if their handsome faces and perfectly coiffed hair are removed from the equation, I can whole heartedly say 1D truly deserve their God-like status.

I've definitely come down with a uncurable case of the deadly One Direction Infection.

And a tip: if you event want to boost your numbers on Twitter, simply get one of the boys to follow you. It'll up your numbers in a matter of minutes.
