So this week I have the great honour of handing over my blog to Joanne Saunders who is the lucky winner of the Now/Starbucks Frappuccino Blogger competition.
Joanne joined us at the 2011 95-106 Capital FM Summertime Ball with Starbucks Frappuccino® at Wembley Stadium yesterday.
Over to you Joanne...
Wow - where to start? Finding out I had won the competition was incredible - I was so excited that I phoned my friend Carly to tell her, and as I could take somebody with me, I knew she would love to go.
We were picked up and taken to our hotel that we would be staying in after the show, then we were driven to Wembley Stadium - the crowds looked amazing outside as they headed towards the venue. Even though it was pouring with rain, the atmosphere was like a party.
When we arrived we were escorted up to the media area, and on our way through we saw JLS rushing past us on their way to the stage - they were going to be the first act on and had to go and get changed, but gosh, did they look gorgeous!
Then we went to meet the team from Now magazine and see their fabulous photo set. I won't give too much away because the pictures will be in the magazine next week but let's just say they will definitely be worth the wait!
Everybody was lovely and waiting for the next celebrity to come in and have their photo taken. It wasn't until I saw the amount of people, props and preparation that I realised how much effort goes into getting pictures for a magazine.
We were taken through the press room (I have never seen so many photographers!!) and taken to our seats - where we enjoyed our extremely yummy Starbucks Frappuccinos.
We sat and watched as the thousands of people who had bought tickets, streamed into the Stadium, and we took in the enormity of the venue and the stage which had a special runway from the main stage out into the crowd!
Before we knew it, it was show time. JLS opened the show and they we fantastic singing their hits Beat Again, Everybody in Love and their brand new single She Makes Me Wanna. They were brilliant and I loved Aston's bright yellow jacket.
Next up was Cee Lo Green. Wow! That's all I have to say - he came on dressed in a funky parker jacket, and his voice was out of this world. He treated us to some great songs and stepped off the main stage onto the runway and into the pouring rain - so nice to see celebs not afraid to get wet - I really hope that we get to meet him today, I know that Carly loves him too.

After Capital FM's Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowden shared their hilarious version of Purple Rain (appropriately renamed Showery Rain!) it was time for Katy B, Mann, Mike Posner (who gave us an eyeful when he threw his T-shirt off and into the crowd) and the Far East Movement - they were all fantastic.
We quickly had time to pop backstage - we were going to meet Cee Lo Green - how excited were we? Very!
We took our Starbucks Frappuccinos and watched as Cee Lo had his photo taken for Now magazine, what we didn't know was that Now had arranged for us to have our photo taken with him. Us. With Cee Lo Green! OMG!
I was so nervous but Carly was loving it - we both told him how fab he was on stage and he chatted with us - he was so friendly... and a bit cheeky too! But wow, it totally made our day.
Before we had a chance to leave the set, Johnny and Lisa walked in - we asked Lisa how she didn't slip off of the stage in her skyscraper heels.
She told us that she held on to Johnny... very tightly! There's no way I would have been able to walk in heels that high let alone on a slippery and very wet stage! What a pro she is!
The Summertime Ball with Starbucks Frappuccino® is 95-106 Capital FM's sixth ‘ball'.
A donation will made from the proceeds of the event to support Capital's flagship charity, Help A Capital Child.
