Avatar - Excitement mounts

James Cameron's new film expected to change cinema

Avatar, James Cameron's new sci-fi epic, has some serious hype to live up to.

Not only must it match up to the director's impressive back catalogue: Titanic, Terminator etc, but it is also expected to change the face of cinema as we know it!

Quite a claim!

Those in the know, directors Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and Peter Jackson, have all publicly announced their love of the film - and back up the transformative claims surrounding it.

I have also seen a short clip of the film and I must admit I was impressed.

By creating his own technology, James Cameron has created a world so beautiful only 3D viewing could do it justice.

What is most impressive is, that despite all the technological developments, it's the story that pulls you in - making the amazing visuals seem natural and smooth.
