Megan Fox bares her teeth in Jennifer's Body

We all know the type - the sexiest girl in school who befriends a speccy four-eyes nerd just so she'll look even hotter.

But in Jennifer's Body the high school fox is a lot more ruthless than that.

Already used to being the lust-object of every boy in school, Jennifer (Megan Fox, Transformers), quite literally becomes a maneater after a Satanic ritual.

It's up to her boring friend, the aptly-named Needy (Amanda Seyfried, Mamma Mia!), to stop Jennifer before she swallows whole every guy in the town of Devil's Kettle in Dullsville, USA.

Jennifer's your typical pretty girl from a provincial town who acts way more sophisticated than she really is.

Not that she's totally innocent, which is how she becomes possessed by the Devil, after hooking up with a cool indie singer Nikolai (Adam Brody, The O.C.) who comes to town.

Nikolai wants to be a rock star with money, sex and drugs on tap.

Bored with gigging in small-town bars, Nikolai decides to take a short cut to success by sacrificing a virgin to the Devil.

Only thing is, Jennifer's no virgin, and the Devil's revenge for getting a bad girl is to make her even badder.

This is a chick flick with a difference - a horror film where the villain and the hero are both kick-ass girls.

Traditional horror fans, meaning teenage boys, probably won't get its mixture of gore, sly laughs and girls who don't need a man to help them.

But anyone who's ever been the dull friend of the most popular girl in school will love seeing Needy get her own back.
