I always find Autumn/ winter quite a traumatic time for finding two of the most crucial wardrobe must-haves. Boots and coats.
I find that too much choice in the shops and the need to wear all the trends just gets me all in a fluster. And I just end up putting it off, until I am so cold and my feet are all wet in my ballet pumps that I am pretty much forced into buying the first thing I see in the shops!
This year I am not going to let that happen.
So far the coat situation is working out. I am still wearing my beige Zara trench from last January, on the back of Burberry, as it was still hot on their A/W 08 catwalks.
On the other hand the boot situation isn’t going down too well. I’m not sure if I should go all out and embrace the glam rock trend and purchase tassel/ studded platform boots, like these River Island baby’s!
Or go for plain sensible thigh high riding boots like this pair from Faith.
However when I saw these gorgeous Miu Miu look-alikes, I knew I just had to get them.
Priced at a steep £119.00, they are slightly over my boot budget. But when I work it out pair wear, the boots will have practically paid for themselves!
