It's good to know that even if you're the Duchess of Cambridge, who has a travelling hairdresser, a designer wardrobe and access to the best make-up artists in the world, the strain of a tough working schedule is still going to show under your eyes.

Now, I'm no stranger to this beauty problem as I've suffered from dark circles and under-eye bags for years, and although I've never found a cure I have learnt how to hide them damn well.

If they are looking particularly bad, I use the old fashioned tea bag on the eye method, which amazingly isn't an old wives' tale! The caffeine in the tea helps shrink the tiny blood vessels in your skin, which makes the area look brighter. Genius!

Then, being a Beauty Director I've been obsessed by patting on eye cream around my eye area religiously day and night, for years. My latest find, Clinique's Even Better Eyes Dark Circle Corrector, £28, is definitely worth investing in as it has been clinically proven to visibly reduce dark circles by 30% in 12 weeks.

And if all else fails, I do what everyone does and that's get the concealer out. I absolutely swear by the Bobbi Brown Concealer Kit, £23.50, as it's not too heavy that it looks cakey but is highly pigmented so actually does cover the big, bad, dark circles.

So, now I've shared my tips for combating under-eye bags I'd love for you guys to tell me your tips here in the comments section...
