My new summer shag!

Exciting times! I've had my hair cut into a shaggy, choppy new style...

My new 'summer shag' hair cut.

I've got new hair (thanks to Mark Hill) and I have to admit that I did announce that I'd had it all cut off via Twitter and Facebook.

But, I'm glad I did, as the response I've had is unbelievable, so many friends and fellow tweeters have said how much they like it.

I'd been planning to go for a choppy new shorter style for a good couple of months and when I got the call telling me that Mark Hill was in town and did I want an appointment, I decided it was time.

So I told Mark I wanted Sienna Miller's hairstyle, obviously I know that I have curly hair so a fringe was definitely out but Mark said he could give it loads of texture and chop into it so it has a messy un-done look.

Now, I'm not just saying this because I've taken on this hair trend, but ‘The Summer Shag' is the only haircut to have this summer.

My new haircut came with strict instructions from Mark stating that I have to wear it mussed up, even when it's curly. So, I've already gone and got the Mark Hill De-Frizz Texturizing Polish £5.99 to give my hair that rock chic look.

All I need to do now is decide if I want it permanently straight. I have to admit, I am thinking about - thoughts anyone?
