I nearly dropped my camera when Naomi Campbell came over to chat to Terry Barber, Head of Make Up Artistry for M.A.C, while he was telling me about the makeup look he was creating for the show.
It's not that the backstage area wasn't packed with celebrities, I spotted Pixie Geldof, Beverley Knight, Kimberley Walsh and James Corden, it's just that Naomi Cambell - is a supermodel!
Celebrities aside for a minute, Fashion For Relief is a fashion show and the normal backstage madness still happens, it's just that this show is on a massive scale and working alongside Terry Barber were 30 of the M.A.C Pro team to get all 50 celebrities and models ready.
Terry said: ‘We've got celebrities and models for this show so we're doing beauty not concept today. We're doing one look, quite a sexy paired down dewy eye and coral matt lip - definitely no gloss.'
At that point we got kicked out of the backstage area because there was too many people in there. Obviously I sneaked back in later to be told that Kate Moss was in makeup with Terry - I'll find out what he used and report back.
It was an amazing show with Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss opening for a tribute to Alexander McQueen, James Cordon and David Walliams full on snogging on stage, Yasmin and Amber Le Bon walking together and amazingly Geri Halliwell looking fabulous and like she was having a great time.
I snuck out while the auction was on but I was there to see Philip Green buy Kate an Alexander McQueen dress for £100,000.
Unsurprisingly, I couldn't afford anything in the auction but on the way out I did do my bit and bought the charity t-shirt, which was designed by Vivienne Westwood.
