Yes you did read that correctly, yesterday on a Sunday, I was outside the loading bay of a shop on Saville road in London waiting for my M.A.C Senior Artist Caroline Donnelly!
My day started at 10am when I met up with Caroline and we headed into the backstage area of the Graeme Black show where Caroline didn't even have time to set up her kit before she was giving out her newly mixed lip colours to the other M.A.C makeup artists.
And I can honestly say we didn't stop from that moment till the show started at about 2.30 in the afternoon when all the 24 models were ready to hit the runway after having their hair styled by hair guru Sam McKnight and their makeup finished to perfection by the M.A.C team.
What a day, full of excitement, stress and truck loads of coffee. Here I am on my training day and you can see me in action backstage in next week's NOW magazine.
I also have to say a big thank you for my M.A.C S/S 10 Survival Kit, which they sent me. M.A.C's very own Terry Barber hand picks the key items in it and then it is sent out to all the key Editors, to get them through London Fashion Week and the £11.50 M.A.C Lipglass in Chai has already landed in my makeup bag!
