All I seem to do at the moment is have flings with fragrances that last just a couple of days! But what I really want is to find one that I love so much I want to wear it all the time!
Basically I’m not getting emotionally attached to them, but the thing is I really want to be!
So I’ve gone back to one that I spritzed at the beginning of the summer and that I think has got the potential to be a stayer, Narciso Rodriguez Essence, £50 for 50ml (www.debenhams.com) which is quite intense with notes of rose petals, powder notes of iris and hints of amber.
Now, I didn’t carry on wearing it earlier in the year as I felt it was more of an autumn fragrance and I thought it was going to be a hot summer. But as the hot summer hasn’t happened I’m now all about autumn.
So, I’m going to stick with this fragrance for a week and see if I fall in love or not – I’ll report back!
If you want to see if you love a fragrance or not without buying first go into the fragrance hall just before it shuts and spray on your chosen scent, sleep with it on and then see if you still like it in the morning.
