I haven’t had my hair cut for four months, so it’s an understatement to say that I was really excited about my appointment with celebrity hairdresser Mark Hill, this morning.
Now, he has been cutting my hair for years (he also does Fearne Cotton’s hair) and I can honestly say that he is the only hairdresser than can get my hair super sleek.
And I’ve worked out that the trick to getting my curly hair to look like it’s actually straight is to get it as sleek as possible at the drying stage.
Mark pulls my hair straight while drying it using a barrel brush. He then spritzes it with the Mark Hill Frizz Shine & Control Spray, £5.86 for 150ml (www.boots.com), before running the straighteners through it.
This morning, as it was raining, he then sprayed my hair all over with the, Mark Hill Holiday Hair Straight Anti Humidity Spray, £3.42 for 50ml (www.boot.com).
Before you ask, yes it’s still straight!
