For Kate Winslet's award winning role in the film, Revolutionary Road set in the 1950’s, Nicola Clarke, Creative Colour Director for the John Frieda brands and leading authority on blondes, was on set to ensure Kate looked her blonde best on screen.
Nicola has told us: ‘Kate wanted her hair to be super blonde and obviously we had to keep the colour within the 1950’s period. We decided to go for a cool soft champagne shade to keep the colour looking as natural as possible.’
And it seems that her cool-blonde tresses gave her the midas touch as she picked up two awards one for Best Actress, Revolutionary Road and Best Supporting Actress, The Reader.
