Last Friday I presented my first edition of Now News and I learnt some serious lessons!

I’m not going to talk about how I can improve my presenting skills on Now News, as I’d be here all day, but what I do want to talk about is how I can improve my on screen make-up look.
For years I’ve used shimmer and glimmer to highlight certain areas of my face.
I always use a luminous foundation, sweep a highlighting powder on my temples and without fail I pop a cream shimmer pencil in my inner eye corners.
But, to my surprise, my tried and tested make-up tricks didn’t work on screen – shimmer just made my face look weird!
So, basically it’s matte all the way for me from now on when I’m in front of the camera.
I’m starting with my base and instead of using a liquid foundation I’m going to try this mineral one, Max Factor Natural Minerals Foundation, £12.71, which makes my skin look healthy without any shine.
All I need to do now is work out how to come across punchier when I speak, oh and to smile while I’m doing it!
