New mascara

I've been trying out new mascaras all week and I think I've found one I like.

Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara, £10.99

I am a devoted black mascara wearer. I wear it during the day for work, I wear it for a night out and even though it’s probably a bit glam, I wear it at weekends.

Now I know this is going to sound a bit strange coming from a beauty editor, but my favorite mascara ran out at the beginning of the week and I didn’t have another one, so I’ve been trying out any that I could get my hands on.

Over the past week I’ve tested every kind of mascara going, from posh to volumising, lengthening and even a vibrating one.

You’d be surprised how rubbish a lot of them were, but I seem to have settled on this one, Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara, £10.99, obviously in black.

But, I think I’ve become a bit obsessed because I’m still planning, in my head, what mascara I want to test next!
