Paint in gorgeous hues this summer with Charmian's top compacts...

I can't believe I'm admitting this, but I have been known to do my make-up on the train.

I know, I know, I'm committing probably one of the biggest beauty crimes there is, but when time's short it's better than turning up at work bare-faced.

I sometimes think that the beauty industry's encouraging this sort of behaviour, though, because it's constantly launching new compacts containing everything you need to apply your make-up on the move.
