The Spice Girls are doing nothing to dampen the rumours that they'll be performing at the London 2012 Olympic Games Closing Ceremony.

Posh Spice – sorry, Victoria Beckham - has even Tweeted a picture of a sparkly microphone.

Now make-up artist to the stars Karin Darnell, who's worked with Rihanna and Jessie J, has Tweeted a cryptic message: 'Excited to be working at the Olympics Closing Ceremony on Sunday!! Here's a little clue... @TheBodyShop @violentlips.'

London-born Karin added a picture of Team GB-inspired beauty products, including the very patriotic Violent Lips Union Jack transfers that could give every Spice Girl a touch of Brit cool.

Even more intriging is the fact that Melanie C and Emma Bunton have both recently Tweeted Karin. Hmmm...

All we're sure of is that Sunday night's spectacular show is going to be the best in the world – and there's no way the Spice Girls won't Wannabe there!
