You may have noticed that even though Jessica Ennis had just completed the toughest heptathlon event of her career and won her gold medal at the London 2012 Olympics, she still looked radiant and completely flawless on her lap of honour.

How did she do it? Well, when she chatted to us earlier in the year just after she was announced as the face of Olay Essentials, she told us that she wears make-up on the track.

‘I always wear make-up when I’m in a competition, although by the end of two hours competing it’s sweated off,’ says Jess.

‘I put on a light covering of Bobbi Brown Foundation which has SPF15; eyeliner around the bottom and top of my eyes; Bobbi Brown mascara on my lashes and I use MAC Lip Conditioner which gives a glow without gloss.’

Just in case she has any make-up mishaps on the track, Jess’s Olay Essentials Wet Cleansing Wipes are never far away to rescue her post-training skin.
