Gemma Collins' face isn't as sore as it looks

Gemma Collins ventured out of Essex on Tuesday night to celebrate Joey Essex's 22nd birthday at a party in London.

But, after a fun evening with the cast and quite a few lemonades, the 31-year-old TOWIE star was left red-faced - literally! - when she confused her blusher with her powder.

Poor Gemma was snapped by the paparazzi with a face like a ripe tomato.

Next morning the usually glam Gem took to Twitter to explain how she ended up with an all-over rosy glow.

'I think a few to many drinks last night I reached for the blusher thinking it was all over powder #relax normal girls make mistakes xxx lol,' she Tweeted, 'can't look perfect all the time.'
